Donna Mae Hendricks, 79, of Hermann, formerly of Middletown, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 at her home in Hermann, with her loving family by her side.
Mrs. Hendricks was born June 17, 1939 in Centerville, Kansas a daughter of Roy and Maudleen (Morris) King.
On January 18, 1955 in Winona, Mississippi, she married Otto Franklin Hendricks. They shared over 64 wonderful years together and were the parents of seven children. Donna and Otto spent their first 20 years of marriage around the Middletown area. They have lived in Hermann the past 4 years and in Portland for a few years before that. Donna and Otto spent over 40 years living and working in the San Angelo, Texas area.
Donna had an Associate Degree in Management that she obtained while in Corpus Christi, Texas as well as several management certifications she received throughout the years.
She was a Regional Manager at J&B Management Company in Houston, Texas for 33 years.
Donna was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Montgomery City.
She enjoyed reading. Most of all, Donna loved the water, with the beach being her favorite. She was also a devoted wife, loving mom, wonderful grandmother and friend to many.
Donna is survived by her husband, Otto F. Hendricks, of the home in Hermann; six children, Sheryll L. (Hendricks) Mitchell, of Gulfport, Mississippi, Gregory Franklin Hendricks and wife, Charlotte, of Columbia, Otto Dwaine Hendricks, of Columbia, Dianna Marie (Hendricks) Hale and husband, Chris, of South Padre Island, Texas, Jean Ann (Hendricks) Dopler and husband, Rodney, of Caddo Mills, Texas and Nathan Roy Hendricks, of Kansas City; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Hughes and wife, Hillary, of Gulfport, Mississippi, Wendy Cooley and husband, Jason, of Centralia, Joanna Hendricks, of Valley Park, Tiffany Hendricks, of Belleville, Illinois, Matthew Lindsey and Abbi Dopler, of Caddo Mills, Texas and Robert Hendricks, of Mexico; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Carl King and John King, of Sedgwick, Kansas; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Matthew Allen Hendricks and sister, Jean Nold.
Memorial graveside services were at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Fairmount Cemetery in Middletown, Missouri. Rev. Jason Mirikitani officiated.
Services were under the direction of the Myers Funeral Home.
