Allen Dale Parrish, 78, of Wellsville, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Wellsville United Methodist Presbyterian Church. Reverend Paul Catterton will be officiating the service with burial following at the Fairmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at Wellsville United Methodist Presbyterian Church.

Dale was born on December 1, 1946 in Louisiana, Missouri, the son of James and June (Gaddie) Parrish.  He was previously married to Karen Frances Langford.

Dale was a veteran and served in the U.S. Army. Dale had a long and successful career in the trucking industry, working for many years with Witte Brothers in Troy. He was well-known for his hard work, reliability, and commitment to his job. In addition to his work in trucking, Dale was also an entrepreneur. He owned and operated the Parrish Meat Processing plant in Middletown for many years. Dale also worked as a dispatcher for S & H Transportation. His deep connection to the land and his love for farming led him to raise Hereford cattle, a passion that he enjoyed.

Throughout his life, Dale was known for his strong work ethic, his love for his family, and his deep ties to the community. He will be remembered as a kind, hardworking, and generous man who always put others first.

Survivors include one son, Drew James Rollie Parrish (Katie) of Wellsville; two daughters, Deanna Kay Peak (Phillip) of Wellsville, and Deidre Dale Brinegar (Jerry) of Wellsville; six grandchildren, Jacob Samuel Peak (Sydney) of Montgomery City, Lucas Ethan Peak of Wellsville, Kaleb Eugene Peak of Wellsville, Jared Wesley Brinegar of Wellsville, Kiara Maxine Chatman of Bowling Green, and Emerson Wilde Francesann Parrish of Wellsville; one great granddaughter who is expected soon; two brothers, Richard Irvin Parrish; John Edward Parrish (Debbie) of Louisville, Kentucky; two sisters, Shirley June Willis of Eldon and Sandra Kay Parrish of Troy and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his previous wife Karen, Dale was preceded in death by his parents and brother James Earl Parrish.
