Anthony "Tony" Becker, 95, of Martinsburg, passed away at 8:44 p.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Nobel Health Audrain Community Hospital in Mexico.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Martinsburg with Fr. Ed Becker officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Martinsburg.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4 -6:30 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at the church. Myers Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Tony was born in Laddonia, Missouri on August 15, 1925, the son of Anthony and Teresa (Aulbur) Becker. On October 25, 1949, he married Elizabeth "Betz" Welschmeyer. She preceded him in death on December 30, 2018.

He attended St. Joseph Catholic School through the 10 ^th grade. He then attended and graduated in 1943 from the Martinsburg High School. Mr. Becker was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army.

Tony was a farmer raising row crops and livestock. He farmed with his brother Joe for 40 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus where he was a Past Grand Knight.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 552.

Mr. Becker enjoyed woodworking, dancing and playing cards. He liked old tractors and he and Betz enjoyed taking his 1924 Model T to many parades in the area. Tony loved his family!

Survivors include four sons, Dennis (Linda) Becker, Gary (Vivian) Becker, Tom (Delana) Becker, and John (Nancy) Becker; one daughter, Debbie (Gary) Hodges; two daughters-in-law, Marcia Becker and Annie Becker; 19 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; one brother, Bob (Joan) Becker, four sisters, Virginia Griesenhaur, Therese Ann Fennewald, Margie (Gordon) Pasley, and Ruth (Dan) Abodeely; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, William "Bill" Becker, and Phil Becker; one brother, Joe Becker; and two sisters, Mary Dubbert and Susie Deimeke.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Cemetery or St. Joseph School Trust Fund. They may be sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, 203 E. Bates Street, Wellsville, MO 63384.
