It is with profound sadness that the family of Beverly Benskin announce her peaceful passing on June 1st, 2025 surrounded by her nieces and best friend.  Beverly was born January 6th, 1959, to Wilburn (Sonny) and Iva Jean Benskin in Mexico, MO.

Beverly will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Iva Jean Benskin of Wellsville, her brother, Dave (Jane) Benskin of Wellsville, her three nieces Michelle (Greg) Sumy of Boonville, Tracy (Scott) Walton of Vandalia and Talia Benskin of Columbia and her best friend Charlotte Craven of Wellsville.  Beverly has five great nieces:  Alexis Jones of Boonville MO, Alexandria (Paul) Washington of Madison AL, Lauren (Lucas) Shelton of Harrisonville MO, Brooke (Hunter) Jackson of Bury St Edmund, England and Colby Walton of Monroe City MO.  She also has many cousins, all of whom have great memories of her.

She was predeceased by her father Wilburn (Sonny) Benskin and her sister, Tami Benskin.

Beverly resided in Wellsville her entire life and was known by everyone.  She was either at the local Casey's playing her lotto numbers, watching a game at the local ballfield, watching St Louis Cardinal baseball or sitting on her front porch with her mom.  Bev liked to play cards with family, joke around with friends and her "new" independence of living on her own. Bev was always excited when she would be going on a "sister trip" or whenever she got together with the wonderful people, she also considered family, the entire Christian family.  Bev has always been a collector of different items from Matchbooks, shot glasses to her huge collection of Coca Cola items. Bev never asked for much, except maybe for a ride, but she would do anything for her friends and family and the community with great pride. She will be greatly missed by many.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled in July at the VFW.
