Clarence Edward Kleinsorge, 71, of Wellsville, passed away at 10:29 a.m., Friday February 25, 2022, at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis.

Visitation will be 4 – 7 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville.

Clarence was born January 12, 1951, in Wellsville, the son of Albert Henry Edward and Annadell Margaret (Mechlin) Kleinsorge.  In 1972 in Wellsville, he married Cordy Ann Norris who preceded him in death in 1987.

Clarence worked as Yard Foreman at LaCrosse Lumber Company in Montgomery City.  He also did prescription delivery for Family Pharmacy in Montgomery City.  Previously he worked for Hoffman's IGA and later for Bratcher's Market and Sav-A-Lot, also, of Montgomery City.  After graduation from Wellsville Middletown R-1, he served in the Missouri National Guard for several years.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wellsville.  His greatest joy was spending time with family and also, his extended family.

Survivors include his significant other, Sally Thurman, of the home; one daughter, Christina GenDell (Steven Russell) Gottula of Goose Creek, SC; three brothers, James Albert (Joy) Kleinsorge of Wellsville, Stephen Lee (Carol Mills) Kleinsorge, of Montgomery City, and Willis David (Susan) Kleinsorge of Laddonia; four grandsons, Sean Michael Smith, Matthew Kyle Gottula, Zachary Adam Paul (Amber) Gottula and Steven 'Russell' (Bekah) Gottula Jr., all of South Carolina; four great grandchildren, Brody Harrison Gottula, Kadence Hope Gottula, Oliver Mason Gottula, Dorothy Owen Gottula, of South Carolina.  Also, a nephew David LeEdward Albert (Melody) Kleinsorge, and his children, Rosalie Annadell and John Willis Walter Kleinsorge, Laddonia, a niece Andrea Marie Kleinsorge, Boonville, and a nephew, Dennis Ray Norris of O'Fallon, MO.  His extended family members, Melissa Kay (Joe) McCulloch of St. Charles and Zachary Lee (Amber) Thurman and their children, Arial and Iris Thurman of Montgomery City.

In addition to his wife Cordy, he was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Judith Ann (Kleinsorge) Jones; one brother, William Quinten Kleinsorge, one great-grandson, Westley Adam Gottula, and two brothers-in-law, Jake A. Jones Jr., and Raymond Henry Norris Jr.
