Clinton John "Clint" Deimeke, 24, of Martinsburg, passed away at 11:00 p.m., Sunday, February 26, 2017, south of Martinsburg, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Clint was born May 19, 1992, in Mexico, Missouri, a son of Kevin John and Darla Frances (Tarrants) Deimeke.
He was a 2011 graduate of Community R-VI High School in Laddonia.
Clint was a Communications Technician for Weber Communications in Fulton. Prior to that, he had worked for Poindexter Earth Moving and Remley Irrigation in Laddonia. Clint had also been employed at MFA in Mexico.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Martinsburg.
Clint was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. More than anything, he loved his family and friends.
Clint is survived by his parents, Kevin and Darla Deimeke, of Martinsburg; sister and brother-in-law, Nicole "Nicki" and Justin Poindexter, of Martinsburg; brothers and sister-in-law, Ben Deimeke and fiancée, Kayla Ahrens, of Martinsburg and Joshua "Josh" and Melissa "Missy" Deimeke, of Laddonia; his significant other, Leah Mays, of Martinsburg; grandparents, Cletus and Freda Deimeke, of Martinsburg and Bernice Tarrants, of Martinsburg; great-grandmother, Ruth Hublitz, of Pacific; three nieces and a nephew, Maci and Leah Poindexter, of Martinsburg and Skylar and Evelyn Deimeke, of Laddonia; in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Lindy Tarrants.
Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 3, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Martinsburg. Father Joseph Abah, Rev. Justin Keith and Deacon Ron Deimeke officiated. Serving as organist was Ruth Wilson. Cantor was Candy Bertels.
Burial was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, south of Martinsburg. Serving as pallbearers were Justin Burney, Brian Fennewald, Garrett Fletchall, Treyton Kobush, Cody Kuda and Keith Long. Honorary pallbearers were Ben Deimeke, Justin Poindexter, Nicki Poindexter, Josh Deimeke, Adam Reeves, Dakota Smith and Lee Dungan.
Visitation was held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the church.
Services were under the direction of the Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville.
Memorial contributions were suggested to Community R-VI FFA Trap Team Scholarship c/o Myers Funeral Home, 203 East Bates Street, Wellsville, MO 63384.
