Danny Eugene Bradley, 63, of Wellsville, passed away at 9:20 p.m., Monday, August 15, 2016 at his home.

Danny was born April 18, 1953, in Moberly, Missouri, a son of Orville Lee and Mary Alice (Taylor) Bradley.

He was a 1971 graduate of Moberly High School. Danny continued his education at Moberly School of Nursing, being the first male nurse to graduate from the school with his L.P.N.

Danny was employed at Golden Living Center/Gamma Road Lodge in Wellsville, working there since September 2005 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Prior to that, he had worked at New Florence Nursing and Care Center for over 10 years.

He was an excellent nurse and all the residents loved him.

Danny is survived by his son, Raymond Elden Bradley and wife, Shanna, of St. Charles; sisters, Joann Lee Dickey and husband, Joseph, of Wellsville and Shirley Elaine Grapes, of Moberly; step-brother, Phillip Lesley and wife, Pam, of Columbia; step-sister, Lisa Rice and husband, Steve, of Moberly; granddaughters, Shelby Lynn and Claire Ann Bradley, of St. Charles; nieces and nephews, Brad Grapes and Richelle Grapes, of Moberly, Darren Bradley, of Macon, DeeDee Bradley, of Moberly, Tony Fisher, of Wellsville, Tammy Spence, of Raleigh, North Carolina, Theresa Woods, of Vandalia and Tina Thomas and husband, Ronnie, of St. Peters.

He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Orville and Lucille Bradley and mother and step-father, Mary and Charles Clupny and brother, Orville Dixon Bradley.

Visitation was held from 2:00- 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville.
