Donna Lee Maskey, 62, of Wellsville, passed away at 4:43 p.m., Monday, June 27, 2016 at her home, with her loving family by her side.

Donna was born November 12, 1953, in Mexico, Missouri, a daughter of Elmer Lee and Elizabeth May (Huff) Stuart.

She was a 1971 graduate of Wellsville-Middletown R-1 High School.

On March 11, 1972 at the Wellsville First Baptist Church, she married Douglas Steven "Steve" Maskey. They shared over 44 years together and were the proud parents of two children.

Donna and Steve have lived at their present address since 1978 and Donna had lived in Wellsville all of her life.

She was a member of the Wellsville United Methodist-Presbyterian Church. Donna had previously been on a Montgomery City bowling league and was a former member of the Wellsville Jaycettes.

Donna had been employed as a cashier at the Wellsville Grocery Store for several years. She had also been city clerk for the City of Wellsville and Manager at E & H Kwik Store which then became Fast Lane. Donna had also worked at Gamma Road Lodge first as a Certified Nurse's Aide and then became a Medical Technician. In her earlier years, she had worked at the Wellsville Garment Factory as a seamstress.

She loved playing bingo. Donna was the #1 fan of slow pitch softball in Wellsville, spending numerous hours at the ball park watching not only her kids and grandkids but so many who she thought of as her own. While her kids were growing up, she coached little league for both of her children's ball teams and traveled with them to numerous towns. More than anything, Donna loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her husband, Douglas Steven "Steve" Maskey, of the home in Wellsville; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Lynn "Missy" and James Burton, of Wellsville; son and daughter-in-law, Ryan Douglas and Lois Ann Maskey, of Wellsville; grandchildren, Devyn Taylor Burton, Ethan James Burton, Makenna Elizabeth Maskey, Layton Douglas Maskey and Andrew Ryan Maskey, of Wellsville; father-in-law, Murray Dean Maskey, of Wellsville; brother, Elmer Lee "Shorty" Stuart and wife, Donna, of Wellsville and sisters, Charlotte Ann Senevey and Carla Jo Arens and husband, Mike, of Wellsville; in addition to several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Lee "Dutch" and Elizabeth May "Lizzy" Stuart; sister, Diana Sue Stuart and mother-in-law, Florence Lois Maskey.

Visitation was held from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville.

Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Wellsville United Methodist-Presbyterian Church. Pastor Dawn Gerard officiated.

Burial was in the Wellsville Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Devyn Burton, Ethan Burton, James Burton, Andrew Maskey, John Maskey, Layton Maskey, Makenna Maskey, Ryan Maskey, Cory Senevey and Brent Sheets. Honorary pallbearers were Jessica Arens, Brittany Briscoe, Joshua Briscoe, Virginia Crouch, Justin Darr, Stacy Guenckel, Heather Holmes, Jeff Senevey, Matt Senevey, Eric Stuart, Jastin Stuart, Shane Stuart and Skylar Stuart.
