Edward Oberhaus Jr., 89, of Wellsville, passed away at 2:40 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at his home in Wellsville.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday June 8, 2021, at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor John Bateman officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Montgomery City.

Edward was born March 20, 1932, in St. Louis County. He was the son of Henry E. and Violet (Guntley) Oberhaus. On March 23, 1968, in Bellflower, he married Sandra Kay Lewis who survives.

Edward was a veteran serving in the US Army during the Korean War. Edward worked for the Montgomery County Road District until his retirement. He was a member of the Middletown Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife Sandy, survivors include one son, Mike Oberhaus (Angie Jackson), of Fulton; one daughter, Deana Oberhaus (Jason DeLozier), of Wellsville; three brothers, Henry Oberhaus, of Vandalia, Jim Oberhaus (Louise), of Wellsville, and Bill Oberhaus (Bonnie), of Hallsville; three sisters, Margaret Scheffer (Fred), of Mexico, Linda Yelton (Wayne), of Mexico, and Charlotte Brandenburg (Mike), of New Haven; five grandchildren, Austin Oberhaus, Alex and Alivia Stewart, Lauren Reagan (David), and Brayden Oberhaus; and three great grandchildren, Kennedy and Everly Reagan, and Hunter Oberhaus.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Herb, Don and Bob Oberhaus.
