Frances L. "Frankie" Stuckenschneider, 87, of Martinsburg, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Martinsburg with Father Derek Hooper officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m. at the church.
Myers Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Frankie was born in Martinsburg on October 26, 1938. She was the daughter of Donald Edward and Goldie Irene (Mitchell) Pearl. On September 22, 1956, she married Carl E. "Pete" Stuckenschneider at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Martinsburg. He preceded her in death on January 13, 2020.
Through the years, she held a few part-time jobs at various places, but she was primarily a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was previously part of the Ladies Sodality within the church.
Frankie took great pride in her family and cherished every moment she was able to spend with them. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Over the years, she loved bowling and playing bingo, and more recently, she spent her time watching HGTV or sitting on the porch, simply watching the traffic go by.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald "Ron" Stuckenschneider, and Randall "Randy" Stuckenschneider, both of Martinsburg; two daughters, Sharon (Bob) Cope, of Martinsburg, and Sheila Whitley, of Mexico; one brother, Robert "Bob" Pearl, of Martinsburg; one sister-in-law, Diane (Charlie) Swaim, of Martinsburg; nine grandsons, Aaron (Mandy) Cope, Matt (Heather) Cope, Lance Stuckenschneider, Bryan (Whitney) Stuckenschneider, Derek (Alex) Stuckenschneider, Cody Stuckenschneider, Kyle (Kayla) Oliver, Gavin (Gabby) Oliver, and Seth (Reve Theroff) Oliver; 13 great-grandchildren, Tayler (Matt Gastler) Cope, Pacey Cope, Brant Cope, Coltin Cope, Dyllan Epperson, Audree Cope, Dominic Cope, Lucy Stuckenschneider, Annie Stuckenschneider, Beckham Stuckenschneider, Bronson Stuckenschneider, Haven Oliver, and Pete Oliver.
In addition to her husband Pete, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Donna Swaim, and Pat Stone; and one brother, Jim Pearl.
Memorial contributions are requested to be given to the St. Joseph Early Learning Center. They may be sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, 203 E. Bates Street, Wellsville, MO 63384.
