Gloria Leverett, 87, of Middletown, passed away at 2:01 p.m., Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 1, 2021, at Middletown Baptist Church in Middletown. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Funeral Home in Middletown.

Gloria was born in Middletown, Missouri, on April 9, 1934. She was the daughter of Homer and Katie (Jarboe) Steele. On September 26, 1954 she married Willard Leverett. Mr. Leverett died September 27, 2021.

Gloria worked a few jobs early in life but mostly worked on the farm with her husband. She had been a member of the Women's Ag Awareness Organization. She served as the Treasurer for the Middletown Cemetery Association for 62 years. She was a member of the Middletown United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son, Terry Pritchett and wife Janice, of Middletown; two sisters, Merline Barley, of New Hartford, and Wanda Lou Mudd, of Silex; two grandchildren, Christopher Pritchett and wife Carmin, of Middletown, and Regina Hill, of Middletown; four great-grandchildren, Colton and Kaylee Pritchett, and Easton and Reagan Hill; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Middletown Cemetery Association or the Ronald McDonald House in Columbia. They may be sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, 203 E. Bates Street, Wellsville, MO 63384
