Henry Herman Oberhaus, Sr., 84, formerly of Montgomery City, Missouri, passed away on Sunday January 30, 2022, in Lebanon, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday February 1, 2022, at Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Montgomery City.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Henry was born on March 11, 1937, in Eureka, Missouri. He is the son of Henry Edward Oberhaus, Sr. and Violet Lillian (Guntly) Oberhaus. On December 13, 1975, in Wellsville, he married Edna Ruth Inlow who preceded him in death on July 11, 2019.

Mr. Oberhaus worked for several years at the Wellsville Die Factory. He retired from the Wellsville Firebrick Company after 22 years of service.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, dancing, and attending Old Threshers events. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include one son, Henry H. Oberhaus, Jr. (Betty Jeffries), of Lebanon; two daughters, Pamela Buck (Jim Gibbs), of Vandalia, and Angela Oberhaus (Joe Chamblin), of Urbana, MO; two brothers, Jim Oberhaus (Louise), of Wellsville, and Bill Oberhaus (Bonnie) of Hallsville; three sisters, Margaret Scheffer (Fred) of Mexico, Linda Yelton (Wayne) of Mexico, and Charlotte Brandenburg (Mike) of New Haven; one sister in law, Sandra Oberhaus, of Wellsville; nine grandchildren, Jeremy, Eddie, and Shawn Oberhaus, Chris, Ashley, Vallery, and Jordan Zarhouni,  and Christy and Ritchie Turnbough; and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one step daughter, Jeanette Smith; four brothers, Bob, Herb, Donald Jr., and Eddie Oberhaus; and one granddaughter, Angela Powell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. They may be sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, 203 E. Bates Street, Wellsville, MO 63384.
