Howard L. Brinegar, 78, of Wellsville, passed away June 13, 2024, at Columbia Manor Care Center in Columbia, Missouri.

Memorial services with military honors will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday June 22, 2024, at the VFW in Wellsville with a luncheon following.

Howard was born December 10, 1945, in Wellsville, Missouri. He was the son of Howard W. and Anna L. (Arnall) Brinegar.

He was a truck driver most of his life. He loved fishing and attending truck and tractor pulls. He was a member of the Lions Club in Hartsburg, Missouri.

He is survived by his wife Betty, of Hannibal; one son, Brian Brinegar (Julia), of Mascoutah, Illinois; two daughters, Keisha D. Allen (Mike) of Poplar Bluff, and Christina Pitzer of Columbia; two brothers, John Brinegar of Wellsville, and Dennis Brinegar (Valerie) of Wellsville; twenty grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parent; three sisters, Lybonia Reed, Patricia Kessler, and Mary Farnsworth; and one grandson, Kurtis Allen.
