Jacqueline Nadine "Jackie" Wright, 78, of Bowling Green, formerly of Martinsburg and Wellsville, passed away at 12:37 p.m., Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Country View Nursing Facility in Bowling Green, Missouri.

Mrs. Wright was born January 6, 1938, in Royal Oak, Michigan, a daughter of Albert William and Etta Pearl (Hamilton) Holtkamp.

She was a 1956 graduate of Hazel Park Michigan High School.

On November 21, 1959, in Paris, Missouri, she married Aubrey Turner Wright. He preceded her in death on June 2, 2000.

Jackie had been employed at Wal-Mart in Mexico as a cashier and also working in the snack bar. She had also worked at Decora in Montgomery City for over 13 years.

She had lived in Bowling Green for the last 6 years, Martinsburg from 2000-2010 and in rural Wellsville from 1960 to 2000.

Jackie was a member of the foster grandparent program out of Columbia, working at Community R-6. She listened to K-5 students read and had done this for over 8 years.

She enjoyed crocheting and loved collecting leopard print items.

Jackie is survived by her children, Aubrey Keith Wright, of Columbia, Laura Jane Wright-Cutsinger and husband, Gary L. Poindexter, of Vandalia and Albert Carson Wright and wife, Rita, of Martinsburg; six grandchildren, Natasha Leigh Wright and husband, Bobby Benson, of Columbia, Joshua William Smith and wife, Jamey, of Hannibal, Lindsey Ann Wright, of Columbia, Lacey Marie Wright, of Harrisburg, Andrea Kay Wright, of Atlanta, Georgia and Nicola Erin Wright, of Harrisburg; great-grandchildren, Kyler Glen Wright-Benson, of Columbia and Jackson, Jacob and Jasper Smith, of Hannibal; in addition to nephews, nieces and step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Aubrey Turner Wright; two grandsons, Kyle William Turner Wright and Tyler James "T.J." Smith; sister, Betty Jean Pitts and brother, Roger Alvin Holtkamp.

Memorial services were at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville. Rev. Dawn Gerard officiated.

Visitation was held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service, Saturday, at the funeral home.

Burial of her cremains followed the service in South Fork Cemetery in Santa Fe, Missouri.
