James "Jim" Francis Foster II, CB Handle "Donut", 51, of St. Robert, formerly of Middletown, passed away at 5:36 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2016, south of Hermann, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Jim was born February 21, 1965, in Washington, Missouri, a son of James Francis and Mary Louise Hertlein Foster.Hewas a member of theHermann High School marching band and also played in the jazz band. He also had the honor of performing with the Royal Knights Drum and Bugle Corps for two years.

Jim was an over the road truck driver for most of his life. He was currently driving for Jeff Privett Enterprises, hauling for Independent Stave Company. Jim also drove a concrete truck for Washington Ready Mix for several years when he was younger, and worked as a conductor on Branson Scenic Railway for a few years.

He was a member of Middletown Baptist Church and loved being part of a church that accepted him without judgement. He loved attending monthly meetings of the Joshua 24:15 Men's Group for fellowship, and prayer.

Jim had a love for music and could play almost any instrument you put in front of him. He sang and played in the family band,enjoyed working on cars, and loved hot rods. He liked any type of trains and was an avid collector of train memorabilia. Jim also loved spending time with hisfamily, but most of all, he enjoyed every minute with his grandkids and greatniece, who adored him.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Foster, of Montgomery City; sons, Joshua Foster and wife, Lindsey, of Cape Fair and Jay Foster and wife, Morgan, of Russellville, Arkansas; mother, Mary Louise Foster, of Richland; grandchildren, Ryleigh Foster, Raven, Zoe and Josalyn Grennan, of Montgomery City, Alex, JD and Christopher Foster, of Cape Fair and Zelda and Oliver Foster, of Russellville, Arkansas; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Penny Foster, of Wellsville and Joe and Michelle Foster, of Beaufort; sisters and brother-in-law, Sally and Stacy Morgan, of Laquey and Rebekah Hasty, of Richland; special great niece, Symphony Foster, of Richland; in addition to nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Francis Foster and niece, Kara Ann Foster.

Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 27, 2016 at the Middletown Baptist Church. PastorJohn Foster officiated. Special music was provided by Tyler Hagemier, Spring Lynch, and Tara Calton.

Burial was in Fairmount Cemetery, in Middletown, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were Joshua Foster, Shane Worley, Jeff Privett, Elijah Jones, Issac Jones and Michael Jones.

Visitation was held from 3:00-6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the church.

Services were under the direction of the Myers Funeral Home in Middletown.
