James "Jim" R. Robinson, 77, of Wellsville, passed away at 10:27 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021, at Gamma Road Lodge in Wellsville.

Mr. Robinson donated his body to the University of Missouri School of Medicine. No services are planned.

Jim was born on Dec. 30, 1943, in Caledonia, Missouri. He was the son of John and Velma (Nicholson) Robinson.

Jim was a veteran of the US Army. He served in Viet Nam as a helicopter mechanic and as a door gunner and crew chief on a helicopter. He suffered for many years from cancer and illness attributed to exposure to Agent Orange in his service to our country.

He worked for many years at the Missouri Department of conservation as a game warden and conservation agent.

His survivors include one son, Jeremy Robinson, of Chicago, Ill.; one daughter, Stacy  Remly, of St. Charles; three brothers, John Robinson (Thelma), of Caledonia, Paul Robinson (Rosemary), of Tebbetts, and Daniel T. Robinson (Patty), of Caledonia; and two grandchildren.
