Jeffery Scott "Jeff" Wimmer, 39, of Montgomery City, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family and friends.

Jeff was born March 9, 1981 in Columbia, Missouri, a son of Delbert Joseph and Susie Mae (Roden) Wimmer.

On May 8, 1999 at the First Baptist Church in Wellsville, Missouri, he married Andrea Grace "Angie" Zumwalt. They are the parents of three children.

Jeff was a self-employed business owner for over 21 years, working in flooring and construction. His wife, Angie, worked side by side with him, including building 4 homes. Jeff had also served the community as a Paramedic working for the Montgomery County Ambulance District for over 6 years. He had also worked part time for Pike County, Audrain County and Van-Far Ambulance Districts.

Jeff had lived in the Montgomery County area all of his life. He was a member of Montgomery Fire Protection District.

He enjoyed all motorsports but, especially loved racing. Jeff liked hunting and was always found tinkering with mechanical things. Jeff had a build and create mentality and could do almost anything put before him. He loved his family and friends fiercely and will forever be missed by all who knew him.

Jeff is survived is by his wife, Andrea Grace "Angie" Wimmer and children, Blake Scott Wimmer, Elizabeth Ann "Annie" Wimmer and Kalin Grace Wimmer, all of the home in Montgomery City; mother, Susie Mae Keithley, of Middletown; father, Delbert Joseph Wimmer and Rita Eakes, of Hermann; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and lots of extended loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles Richard and Vivian Ethel Lucille (Gudger) Roden, great-grandmother, Maybelle Jones Roden; paternal grandparents, Charles and Martha Wimmer and step-father, Gerald Keithley.

Private Family Graveside Services were at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, north of Montgomery City. Officiant was Scott Lemasters.

Services were under the direction of the Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville.
