Joyce Ann White, 80, of High Hill, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Gamma Road Lodge in Wellsville.

Mrs. White was born September 26, 1939 in Montgomery City, Missouri, a daughter of Homer Gaylin and Stella Clarene (Porter) Hall.

Joyce was a 1957 graduate of Montgomery County R-II High School.

On December 14, 1958 in Montgomery City, she married Jack White. They shared over 52 years of marriage together, before he preceded her in death on July 3, 2011. They lived most of their married life in High Hill, but Joyce lived all of her life in Montgomery County.

She was a homemaker and housewife. In earlier years, Joyce had worked at Beacon Shoe Factory in Jonesburg.

Joyce had attended Montgomery City Christian Church as well as Prices Branch Christian Church. She was a former member of Busy Bee's in Bellflower.

She enjoyed watching westerns, putting jigsaw puzzles together and canning. Joyce loved fried chicken and a good shopping trip with the girls. She loved dogs but especially her dog, Princess, that she leaves behind. More than anything, Joyce loved being with her family.

Joyce is survived by her children, Brenda Sue White and husband, Joe Young, of Montgomery City, Linda Diane Tate and husband, Tim, of New Florence, Judy Fay Butler and Mark McDonald, of Mexico, Patty Lynn Fidler and husband, Christopher, of Middletown and Nancy Ann Bergen and husband, Scott, of Montgomery City; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and sister, Betty June Hagood, of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack White and brother, Charlie Hall.

Visitation was held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2020at Grace Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in Wellsville.

Services were under the direction of the Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville.

Private family services with Inurnment wereheldat Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in High Hill.
