Lola Yvonne Ickenroth, 78, of Wellsville, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020 at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital- Audrain in Mexico, Missouri.
Mrs. Ickenroth was born October 16, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of Lola Francis (Boffman) Ham.
On May 22, 1983 at the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Wright City, she married Thomas Raymond Ickenroth. They lived in Wellsville since 2008. Prior to that, Lola and Thomas had lived in Montgomery City and Jonesburg.
Lola was a homemaker. She loved arts and crafts and crocheting. Lola also loved reading and baking. More than anything, she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Lola is survived by her husband, Thomas Raymond Ickenroth, of the home in Wellsville; son and daughter-in-law, John Estell (Kathy) Snipes, of Columbia; step-children and their spouses, Michael Charles Ickenroth, of Wellsville, Matthew David (Tara) Ickenroth, of Maldraugh, Kentucky, Michelle Lea (Phillip) Caswell, of Louisville, Kentucky and Margaret Ann (Larry) Zoll, of Maldraugh, Kentucky; eleven grandchildren, Virginia Ickenroth, Susan Ickenroth-Martel, Cindy Estes, Timothy Bellou, Tiffany Bellou, Linda Bellou, Jacob Richard, Verla Skaggs, Thomas Ickenroth, Maria Decarr and Janet Routt; fourteen great-grandchildren and a brother, George Robert Ham.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lola Francis (Boffman) Ham; sons, Charles Edward "Chuck" Jones and Robert Eugene "Gene" Snipes and two brothers, Lenis Harvey Ham and Albert Leonard Ham.
Graveside services were at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at the Wellsville Cemetery. Rev. Ron Copeland officiated. Serving as pallbearers were Michelle Caswell, Matt Ickenroth, Susan Ickenroth-Martel, Virginia Ickenroth, John Snipes and Marty Zoll.
Visitation was held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service, Tuesday, at the Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville.
Memorial contributions were suggested to the American Cancer Society c/o Myers Funeral Home, 203 East Bates Street, Wellsville, MO 63384.
