Louise Oberhaus, 73, of Wellsville, passed away at 11:15 a.m., Monday, February 27, 2023, at her home.

Private burial will take place at a later date. No formal service planned. Myers Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Louise was born on April 8, 1949, in Mexico. Her parents were Cecil Lester and Albia Lorene Tarrants.  She lived all her life in Wellsville. On May 3, 1974, in Oklahoma, she married Jim Oberhaus who survives.

She was a 1967 graduate of Wellsville-Middletown R1 High School. She had formerly worked at Swingmaster Garment Factory, Gamma Road Lodge as a CNA, and at Decora Lodge in Montgomery City.

Louise enjoyed going to the "boat", shopping, visiting with family and friends, and spending time with her grandkids.

In addition to her husband Jim, survivors include one daughter, Stacey Lorene Fausett, of Cameron, MO; three grandchildren, Darrien Jade Oberhaus, and Chea-La Re Oberhaus, both of Wellsville, and Bria Nicole Oberhaus (Kyler Leevis Trimble), of Cameron; great grandchildren, GraceLynn Nicole Oberhaus, David Ralph Ewersmann III, Zoey Elizabeth Ewersmann, AddiLynn Grace Surrisi, Ryker Lewis Trimble, and Hunter Joshua Hendrix; and one sister, Shelia Ann (Jim) Nutter, of Wellsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
