Mary Jean Gude, 75, of Wellsville, passed away at 9:20 a.m., Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at her home in Wellsville.

Mrs. Gude was born February 7, 1942, in LaGrange, Missouri, a daughter of Carl Madison and Rosemary Louise (Hall) Musser.

She was a 1960 graduate of LaGrange High School.

She had married Ronald Gude in March 1960, in LaGrange, Missouri and they were the parents of 3 children.

On April 6, 2010 in Montgomery City, Missouri, she married Gary Gene Marshall. He preceded her in death on June 26, 2010.

Mary had lived in Wellsville for the last 10 years. Prior to that, she lived in O'Fallon and Lake of the Ozarks.

She had worked at Midwest Flooring in St. Louis in sales.

Mary enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. She loved being outside, playing the piano and talking on the phone.

Mary is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Terry Gude, of O'Fallon and David Gude, of Wellsville; daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Troy Basler, of Foristell; three grandchildren, Lindsey Franklin and husband, Nick, of Foristell, Clinton Gude, of O'Fallon and William Gude, of Kennett; great-granddaughter, Melody Gude, of Labadie and brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Debbie Musser, of the State of Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gary Gene Marshall.

Mary was cremated and there will be private family services held at a later date.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville.
