Maynard Lee Kleinsorge, 77, of Middletown, passed away at 4:30 a.m., Monday, January 18, 2016 at Golden Living Center/Gamma Road Lodge in Wellsville.

Visitation was held from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Myers Funeral Home in Middletown.

Mr. Kleinsorge was born February 6, 1938, in Middletown, Missouri, a son of Walter Carl and Margaret Mae Jarboe Kleinsorge.

He was a 1956 graduate of Wellsville-Middletown R-1 High School. Maynard was very active in FFA while in high school.

Maynard served his country in the United States Army Reserves being honorably discharged on January 31, 1967.

He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Wellsville.

Maynard lived in Middletown all of his life.

He was a pipeliner. Maynard worked for Welded Construction, where he was a side boom operator for 38 years. He was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 234 in Des Moines, Iowa since August 24, 1963.

Maynard is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Melborne Earl "Mel" and Helen Kleinsorge, of Martinsburg, Margaret Ann Brooks, of Auxvasse, Erma Fay and Bill Dunn, Martin S. "Marty" and Theresa Kleinsorge and Richard Wayne "Rich" and Mary Jo Kleinsorge, of Middletown; sisters-in-law, Mary Kleinsorge, of Middletown and Carrie Kleinsorge, of Sarasota, Florida; in addition to several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Margaret Kleinsorge and brothers, Robert Eugene "Bob" Kleinsorge and Theodore Joseph "Ted" Kleinsorge.

Memorial contributions were suggested to the American Heart Association or Cancer Research c/o Myers Funeral Home, 203 East Bates Street, Wellsville, Missouri 63384.
