Murray Dean Maskey, 94, of Wellsville, passed away at 8:50 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Gamma Road Lodge in Wellsville.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville.
Funeral Services to also be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with burial following in Fairmount Cemetery in Middletown.  Rev. Luke Wolters to officiate.

Murray, was born in Wellsville, on October 19, 1927, the son of Eli Ulysses and Lulu Gwendola (Lionberger) Maskey.  On October 21, 1951, he married Florence Lois Tamme, who preceded him in death on November 26, 2007.

Murray served in the United States Army from March 8, 1946 and received an honorable discharge on April 27, 1947. He farmed in rural Wellsville all of his life. He loved traveling with his wife, Allis-Chalmers tractors, St. Louis Cardinal's Baseball, bowling, and playing cards.
Survivors include three sons, Steve Maskey, of Wellsville, Terry Maskey, of Wellsville, and David Maskey, of Lebanon, Missouri; two daughters Debra Briscoe, of Troy, and Dana Maskey, of Troy, Missouri; one brother Gary Wayne (Janice) Maskey, of Wellsville; one sister Myra Joan Smith, of Montgomery City; four grandchildren, Ryan (LoisAnn) Maskey, of Wellsville, Melissa (James) Burton, of Wellsville, Joshua Briscoe, of Moscow Mills, and Brittany (Kumar) Patel, of St. Charles; six great-grandchildren, MaKenna Maskey, Layton Maskey, Andrew Maskey, Ethan Burton, Devyn Burton, and Tobias Briscoe; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Murray was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, John Leslie Maskey, one brother-in-law Donald Smith; and one daughter-in-law Donna Lee Maskey.

Memorials may be given to Fairmount Cemetery. They may be sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, 203 E. Bates Street, Wellsville, MO 63384.
