Norma Riley, 92, of Mexico, passed away Saturday morning, April 11, 2026, at the King's Daughters Home in Mexico.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday April 16, 2026, at Bethel United Methodist Church south of Wellsville. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 1 – 2 p.m. at the church.

Norma was born in Wellsville, Missouri, on December 1, 1933. She was the daughter of Frank Ramsey and Berdella Ruth (Walker) Harris. On December 7, 1948, she married Elbert Fay Blackburn, who preceded her in death on April 20, 1986. She later married John Harold "Jack" Riley, on May 10, 1989. Jack preceded her in death on June 24, 2024.

Norma attended school in Montgomery City and Wellsville. She worked for MFA and Shelter Insurance in Laddonia for many years. She previously had been involved in the Federated Club and the Fidelis Art Club, and she enjoyed flowers. However, in her words "family is my whole life", "My greatest joy has been the miracle of seeing my newborns and holding them and feeling their little heart beating next to my heart. I am so proud of all my family".

Her family includes, son David Blackburn, of Mexico, and his children, Jeff (Janna) Blackburn, Randy (Catina) Blackburn, and Brian (Elaine) Blackburn; son Tim (Joyce) Blackburn, of Mexico, and his children, John Blackburn, Rachel (Jason Sanning) Blackburn, Joe (Jessica) Blackburn, and Chris Himmelsbach; daughter Cheryl (Mike) Wieberg (both deceased), and their children, Amanda Wieberg (deceased), Amy Wieberg, and Michael (Kimberly) Wieberg; son Paul (Allison) Riley, of St. Louis County; one brother, Charles (Joann) Harris, of Laddonia; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to those already mentioned, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Gary Riley, a daughter, Diane Riley and a great grandson, Henry Miles Wieberg.

Norma requests the following: "In Lieu of flowers, please do an unexpected act of kindness, and tell your children how much you love them". Monetary memorials may be given to the Bethel Cemetery Association. They may be sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, 203 E. Bates Street, Wellsville, MO 63384.
