Orville Arthur Reinwald, 84, of Middletown, died Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Gamma Road Lodge in Wellsville, Mo.

Orville was born February 25, 1936 in St. Louis, Mo to Irven Paul Reinwald and Hilda Anna (nee Finke) Reinwald. He grew up in the Baden area of St. Louis. Orville attended Ebenezer Lutheran Grade School and graduated from Beaumont High School. While in high school he helped his dad who was a baker at Linck's Bakery in Baden and later worked at Baden Market until he was drafted into the U. S. Army in the 1960's. Though the Korean war was over, Orville served in Korea in administrative duties in the military postal service. His service was extended for six months until his honorable discharge from the U.S. Army on September 30, 1965. The six months was served at Fitzsimons Army Hospital in Colorado. Orville worked at Hill Behan Lumber Company after his return from service and later at Beyers Lumber and Hardware.

He was an avid bowler and received many trophies. Orville enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing poker and going to Olney Tavern to visit with his many friends there.

Orville was predeceased by his parents who both died in 1986. He moved to Middletown in that year and enjoyed living in the country, especially cutting grass. His brother-in-law, Paul Leistritz, passed away in 2008 and his sister, Joy, moved from St. Louis to the home in Middletown in 2009. Orville is survived by his sister, Joy Arlette (Reinwald) Leistritz; nephews, David and Mark Leistritz and great nephews and step-niece, Trace and James Leistritz and Aloura Alvarado and their mother, Stephany (nee Tramel) Leistritz.

Memorial services were at 12:00 noon, Saturday, November 21, 2020at the Myers Funeral Home in Middletown. Rev. Ralph Williams officiated. Serving as organist was Eldora Lowry. Full Military Honors were provided by Martinsburg American Legion Post 552.

Visitation was held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, Saturday, at the funeral home.

Inurnment was in New Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery in Bellefontaine Neighbors, St. Louis, MO.
