Patricia Ruth "Patsy" Poole, 88, of Wellsville, passed away Friday March 1, 2024, at University Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday March 7, 2024, at the Wellsville United Methodist Presbyterian Church with Rev. Paul Catterton officiating. Burial will follow in Wellsville Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Myers Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Patsy was born July 24, 1935, in Mexico, Missouri. She was the daughter of Leon Oren and Leona Alice (Clement) Conz. On February 23, 1958, she married Raymond "Don" Poole at the Wellsville United Methodist Presbyterian Church. Mr. Poole preceded her in death on January 6, 2023.

Patsy worked at the Bank of Wellsville for many years. She had also served as the Wellsville City Clerk in the 1970's.

She was a member of the Wellsville United Methodist Presbyterian Church. Over the years she was very active in the church. She had been a member of the choir and played the piano and organ. She was also very involved in her son's activities including serving as a Cub Scout Den Mother, and with the PTA.

She is survived by one son, Mark Poole (Janice), of Boonville; two granddaughters, Anna Poole, of Boonville, and Bethany Poole, of Mission, Kansas; four great-grandchildren, Dayton, Alivia, Layla, and Harlow; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Connie Mitchell.
