Randall Albert "Randy" DeTienne, 61, of Mexico, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri.

Randy was born September 15, 1957 in Hannibal, Missouri, a son of Wesley Sheridan DeTienne Jr. and Joan Irene Daugherty DeTienne.

On August 11, 2001 in Wellsville, Missouri, he married Melinda Gaye "Mindy" Johnson. They have lived in Mexico since 2002. Randy had lived in the Wellsville/Middletown area prior to that.

Randy was a truck driver for Triple V Trucking in Martinsburg for over 25 years. He had worked as a truck driver for over 40 years total, working for other companies before his present employment.

He was a member of Because He Lives Cowboy Church in New Bloomfield. Randy was also a member of Masonic Lodge #246 in Montgomery City.

Randy enjoyed going to rodeos and truck pulling with his brother, Pud and their truck "Footloose." He loved tending cattle and had cows for over 9 years. Randy enjoyed taking his granddog, "Baxter" along with him. He also liked to garden.

Randy is survived by his wife, Melinda "Mindy" DeTienne, of the home in Mexico; daughter, Johnna Ann Logue, of Mexico; mother, Joan Irene DeTienne, of Wellsville; brother and sister-in-law, Richard Lee "Pud" and Christine DeTienne; sisters and brother-in-law, Sharon Faye and David Welschmeyer, of Martinsburg and Lori Elizabeth DeTienne, of Wellsville; sisters-in-law, Melanie Kaye Napovanice, of Granbury, Texas and Terra Michelle Murphy and husband, Shawn, of Elsberry; brother-in-law, Patrick Norman Johnson and wife, Robin, of Fenton; in addition to nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Sheridan "Pete" DeTienne Jr.; sister, Joann Marie DeTienne; brother, Wesley Arthur DeTienne and nephew, Garrett Mathew Welschmeyer.

Visitation was held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., with a Masonic Service at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville.

Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the funeral home. Pastor Joey Owen officiated.

Burial was in the Wellsville Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Richard "Pud" DeTienne, Josh DeTienne, John "Mule" Wilson, Scott Vomund, George Dodd and Curtis DeTienne. Honorary pallbearers were Tracy DeTienne, Joe Donaldson and Dean DeTienne.
