Richard Allen "Rich" May, 56, of Mexico, formerly of Wellsville, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019 at his parent's home in Mexico.

Richard was born August 18, 1963 in Mexico, Missouri, a son of Leland Glen and Gail Dean (Miller) May.

He was a 1981 graduate of Wellsville-Middletown R-1 High School.

Richard had married Jill Woodson and had two children, Kade and Kelsay.

He had lived in Mexico the last 25 years. Rich had been employed at Fennewald Pump Service, City of Mexico and most recently, Spartan.

Rich was an avid sports fan, watching all sports. In his younger years, he played baseball and basketball.

Richard is survived by his son, Kade Allen May and daughter, Kelsay Renee May, of Mexico; parents, Leland and Gail May, of Mexico; grandmother, Rosie Mae Miller, of Mexico; brother, Glenn Raymond May, of Wellsville; nephews, Brett May, of Martinsburg, Barron May and fiancee' Kaitlyn Williams, of Troy and Brendon May, of Wellsville; aunts and uncles, Darrell and Janet Miller, of Wellsville, Terry and Deena Miller, of the State of Illinois, Kathy and Larry "Doc" Kaufman, of Mexico, Earl and Debra May, of Columbia and Jeanette May, of Denver, Colorado; in addition to numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd "Bing" Miller and Olen and Melba May.

As Richard requested, he was cremated and there will be no services held at this time.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville.
