Robert Lewis "Bob" Pease, 64, of Wellsville, passed away at 1:50 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at New Florence Nursing and Care Center in New Florence, Missouri.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 8th at the Wellsville United Methodist-Presbyterian Church. Rev. Dawn Gerard will officiate.

Mr. Pease was born April 3, 1952, in Louisiana, Missouri, a son of LeRoy and Mary Elizabeth (Laws) Pease.

He was a graduate of Wellsville-Middletown R-1 High School.

On September 25, 1982 at the Assembly of God Church in Fulton, Missouri, he married Shirley Lee Hiatte.

Robert had lived in Wellsville since 1958. Prior to that, he lived in Fulton.

Robert had worked as a school bus driver in Columbia. He also had worked for a car company in Columbia for over 13 years, making parts that sold to automotive suppliers. Robert was a handyman and worked on many lawn mowers and trucks. He retired in 2014.

He was a member of the United Methodist-Presbyterian Church in Wellsville.

Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved St. Louis Cardinal baseball.

Robert is survived by his wife, Shirley Lee Pease, of Wellsville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Roy August and Mutzie Hiatte, of St. Charles, Willie Henry Clayton and Darlene Hiatte, of Mexico, Donald Clarence Hiatte, of Fulton, Marsh and Shirley Hiatte, of New Haven, Judy Jane and Mike Brown, of California and Ruth Catherine Pruessner, of Union; uncle, William Wayne Pease, of Vandalia; aunts, Dorothy Emo, of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Leota Craghead, of Ozark; in addition to many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Mary Pease; sisters-in-law, Patsy Ann Hiatte and Helen Margaret Hiatte and brother-in-law, George Henry Hiatte.
