Robert L. Utterback, 67, of Middletown, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022, at his home.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday June 29, 2022, at Myers Funeral Home in Middletown, with Jamie Franke officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Middletown.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Robert was born September 10, 1954, in Mexico, the son of Bobby and Clementie (Kisor) Utterback. He was a truck driver working with his dad at Utterback Trucking and later with S&H Trucking. He enjoyed playing cards and watching St. Louis Cardinals Baseball.

Survivors include his long-time partner Joyce Gerdeman, of Middletown, and her children, Michael (Kim) Lionberger, of Wentzville, and Carrie Gerdeman (Shelly Wolfe), of Rapid City, Iowa; one daughter, Corrie Gaston (Heath), of Vandalia; one son, Cale Utterback (Samantha), of Farber; one sister, Beverly McConnell (David), of Middletown; eight grandchildren, Evan, Elliott, and Ean Utterback, Dillon Minor, Gavin and Tia Gaston, and Tori Snyder (Josh); two great grandchildren, Aubrie and Oakley; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Brenda Eskew, and one brother in law, Daryl Eskew.

Memorials may be given to Fairmount Cemetery. They may be sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, 203 E. Bates Street, Wellsville, MO 63384.
