Stephen Wayne "Mange" Frauenhoffer, 65, of Jonesburg, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 26th at Celebration Hall in Jonesburg. The service will be followed by a meal and a party with storytelling. Please come share your memories and stories and have one on Mange. Set-ups will be available but please bring your own whatever.

Steve was born April 19, 1953 in Mexico, Missouri, a son of John Stephen and Frances Evelyn (Kasmann) Frauenhoffer.

He was a 1971 graduate of Montgomery County R-II High School. Steve attended Missouri Tech School in Bridgeton for 2 years so he could be a repairman for VCR's and televisions.

On October 2, 1991 in Wakefield, Nebraska he married Lisa Dawn Brock. They have lived in Jonesburg all of their married life. Steve was raised in St. Patrick's Church in Jonesburg and had lived most all of his life there.

Steve had worked at Ken's Mobile Station, Aluminum Products, YAS Awning, KEMCO and most recently at Hunter Modular Construction, working as a carpenter. In earlier years, he was a 30 year old paperboy for the Mexico Ledger,delivering papersfor several years.

He was a former member of the Lion's Club in Jonesburg. Steve was also instrumental in getting the Optimist Club started.

Steve was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching all sports on television, with the St. Louis Cardinals being his favorite team. He enjoyed working Sudoku puzzles and listening to his rock-n-roll music. Steve loved his cats.

Steve is survived by his wife, Lisa Dawn Frauenhoffer, of the home in Jonesburg; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth Ann and Curt Devenport, of Jonesburg; niece, Danielle Devenport and Frank Bush, of Wellsville; great-nephew, Frankie Bush, of Wellsville; in addition to many cousins and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Frances Frauenhoffer.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville.
