Steven Ray Brown, 66, of Farmington, Arkansas, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 20, 2022.

The family will hold a private service at a later date. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Steve was born on February 14, 1956, in Rogers, Arkansas, a son of Claude Alby Brown and Amy Opal Tipton Brown. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

Steve married Julie Brown on December 6, 1993.

His family and his love of the Lord were the most important things in his life. His grandchildren affectionately called him Pop Pop. Steve enjoyed music and playing guitar.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his father, Claude Brown, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; two sons, Chris Brown of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Aaron (Rachel) Brown of Olathe, Kansas; one sister Karen Hester of Rogers, Arkansas; one brother Claude (Sharon) Brown of Monte Ne, Arkansas; parents-in-law Andrew and Maureen Ehret of Martinsburg, Missouri; two brothers-in-law, Joe (Tina) Allen of Olathe, Kansas, and John Allen of Martinsburg, Missouri; two grandchildren Sidney and Collin Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother; and one brother-in-law Marion Hester.

Memorials may be given to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America. They may be sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, 203 E. Bates Street, Wellsville, MO 63384.
