Teresa Jane (Wieberg) Ross, 55, of Mexico, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020, at her home with family by her side.

Teresa was born October16, 1964, the daughter of Robert ("Bud") and Willa Wieberg. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Grade School and Community R-VI High School, graduating in 1983. In high school, she was a cheerleader, member of the marching and pep bands, honor society member, and she loved to participate in the drama club plays.

Teresa attended Northeast Missouri State University (now known as Truman State University) in Kirksville, Missouri, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Development in 1987. After graduation, Teresa worked in a variety of related jobs including child care centers, Parents as Teachers and Parent Educators.

Teresa's three children - Johanna "Jack", John Robert, and Richard Alan - were her world. She was very proud of each of them and their accomplishments, and she was not shy about sharing stories of them with others.

During recent years, Teresa has spent much time volunteering at the VFW Auxiliary 3772 in Mexico, Missouri, where she made many good friends. She had a strong faith in God and was always willing to help others.

Teresa is survived by her children, Johanna Arlene of St. Louis, Missouri, John Robert of St. Charles, Missouri, and Richard Alan of Kirksville, Missouri, and her siblings Bob and Diane Wieberg of Martinsburg, Ted and Brandy Wieberg of Mexico, Connie Pritchett of Marion, Arkansas, Eddie and Lisa Wieberg,of Martinsburg, Patti and Jim Downey of Park Ridge, Illinois, and Cathy Wieberg of Godfrey, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Willa Wieberg.

Teresa donated her body to A.T. Still University Medical School in Kirksville, Missouri.

A Memorial Mass was at 6:00 p.m., July2, 2020at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Martinsburg. Father Austin Okoli officiated, assisted by Deacon Ron Deimeke. Serving as organist was Palmyra Dubbert. Cantor was Patty Fennewald.

Services were under the direction of the Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville.
