Virginia E. Valentine, 90, a lifelong Wellsville resident, passed away at 4:45 a.m. Thursday December 1, 2022, at Gamma Road Lodge.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday December 8, 2022, at the Wellsville Cemetery with Rev. Paul Catterton officiating. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Miss Valentine was born on October 5, 1932, in Wellsville. She was the daughter of Hudson David and Fannie Rose (Hayes) Valentine.

Virginia was a graduate of Wellsville-Middletown High School. She had previously been Librarian for the Wellsville Library. She enjoyed gardening, reading and canning. She was a member of the Wellsville United Methodist Presbyterian Church.

Virginia is survived by several cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister Marilyn Ruth Valentine.
