Yvonne Burch, 86, of New Florence, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville with John Brumagin officiating. Burial will follow in the Wellsville Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the funeral home.

Yvonne was born on January 9, 1938, in Potosi, Missouri, the daughter of Lawrence & Alberta (Cash) Dunlap.  On March 31, 1955, she married Benjamin Burch in Wellsville. Benjamin preceded her in death on September 12, 2009.

For ten years, Yvonne worked at the Beacon Shoe Factory in Jonesburg, where she made many lasting friendships. However, her most rewarding job was being a dedicated mother, staying home to raise her children and create a loving environment for them. She cherished every moment spent with her family, instilling in them values of love, kindness, and resilience.

A passionate lover of bingo, Yvonne often spent joyful evenings with friends, sharing laughs and friendly competition. She cherished time spent outdoors, whether fishing or camping under the stars. Traveling brought her immense joy, as she loved exploring new places and creating memories with loved ones.

Family was everything to Yvonne. She found great happiness in gatherings, celebrating milestones, and simply being together. She was also a devoted fan of Elvis Presley and found joy in the King's music, often filling the home with his timeless melodies.

Survivors include two sons, Kevin Burch (Miriam) of Williamsburg and Ralph Burch (Gale) of Montgomery City; three daughters, Deborah Parrish (John) of Louisville, KY, Sherry Tarrants (Allan) of Wellsville, and Linda Spindel (Gerald) of Londonderry, New Hampshire; eighteen grandchildren, Steven Parrish (Stephanie) of Montgomery City, Tawnya Casackkar (Chic) of Louisville, Kentucky, Shawn Parker (Chris) of Louisville, Kentucky, Deanna Nickles (Charles) of Bellflower, Gary McCurdy (Tealia) of Montgomery City, Jessica Lavoie Clark (James Clark) of Manchester, New Hampshire, Casey Burch of Louisville, Kentucky, Brittany Burch of Montgomery City, Jaiden Burch (Patricia) of Montgomery City, Russell Burch of Montgomery City, Brent Burch of Montgomery City, Hailey Burch of Montgomery City, Holden Burch of Montgomery City, Clayton Schoneboom of Vandalia, Jay Bell of Columbia, Sierra Bell of Sheridan, Arkansas, Joshua Bell, (Haley) of Russellville, Georganna Antle (Tyler) of Stewartsville; twenty-six great grandchildren, Colby Parrish, Cameron Parrish (AnnaLea), Chase Parrish, Colin Parrish, Isaiah Parker, Isabella Parker, Gabriella Casackkar, Kara Carlisle (Cole), Kambreanna Tarrants (Dylne), Vanessa Burch, Charles Burch, Joshua Scott, Layla Schoneboom, Emma Schoneboom, Audrey Schoneboom, Ellyet Ouellette, Benjamin Ouellette, Isla Clark, Tyce Griffin, Caia Burch, Paiden Burch, Magnolia McCurdy, Eli Bell, Eliana Bell, JR Antle, and Liam Antle; and numerous great great grandchildren.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband; her parents and stepfather Ralph Sheets; one son Marion Russell Burch; one daughter Elizabeth Faye Burch; three grandsons Jeffrey Neil Lavoie, Kyle Hooten, and Keith Holt; two great grandchildren Allison Burch and Serenity Lavoie; two brothers, Roy Dunlap and Jeffrey Sheets; two half-brothers, Edward Dunlap and Donald Dunlap.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Parrish, Dave Burch, Mike Dunlap, Jerry Spindel, Dave Dunlap, and Allan Tarrants.
