Chad Andrew Benskin, 43, of Mexico, formerly of Wellsville, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri.
Chad was born January 28, 1977, a son of Alfred Viencient and Rita Faye (Cope) Benskin.
Chad had lived in Mexico the past 20 years. Prior to that, he lived in Wellsville where he was raised and attended school at Wellsville-Middletown R-1 High School.
He had been a painter for all of his adult life.
Chad was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, 4-wheelers and boating.
Chad is survived by his mother, Rita Faye Benskin, of Mexico; brother and sister-in-law, Clint Alan and Michelle Leigh Hoover-Benskin, of Denver, North Carolina; fiancee’, Cristina Jane Henrichsen, of Mexico; nephew, Bryan Allen (Sarah Elizabeth) Evans, of Vandalia, nieces, Elizabeth Anne (Brandon Clark) Straube, of Vandalia and Kasi Adair Benskin, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; great-nephews, Ty Allen Evans and Dalton Levi Dameron, of Vandalia and great-nieces, Emma Grace Evans, Anne Marie Straube and Kylee Laine Straube, all of Vandalia; in addition to aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Benskin.
Graveside services were at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the Wellsville Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 1:00 – 2:45 p.m., Saturday, at the Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville.
