Obituary

            Deborah Ann Angel, 61, of Middletown, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at her home in Middletown, with her family by her side.

            Deborah was born October 31, 1959 in Columbia, Missouri, a daughter of Robert Lee and Donna Lairy (Horton) Angel.

            She was a 1978 graduate of Wellsville-Middletown R-1 High School.

            After graduating from high school, Deborah served her country in the United States Navy.  After being honorably discharged from the Navy, she came home and went to work at the Mexico Public Library, working there for several years.  Deborah then went to work at various State of Missouri jobs before going to work at Fulton State Hospital in accounting.  She retired from there in 2011.  Deborah spent her retirement years caring for her parents and enjoying her family.  Deborah had very strong family ties and was greatly loved by all.

            Deborah enjoyed classical movies and music videos.  Her favorite hobbies were reading and crafting. 

            Deborah is survived by her mother, Donna L. Angel, of Middletown; sisters and brother, Malinda Sue Angel, of Middletown, Crystal Lea (Kent) Wood, of Auxvasse, Shelby Lou (Phil) Kopp, of Montgomery City, Heather Lee Massmann, of Troy and Robert Nicholas (Jennifer) Angel, of Osage Beach; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

            She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Angel and her grandparents.

            A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

            Arrangements are under the direction of the Myers Funeral Home.
