Isabelle Virginia DeSutter, 91, of Middletown, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Gamma Road Lodge in Wellsville.
Mrs. DeSutter was born May 31, 1928 in Marling, Missouri, a daughter of John Chapman and Lena Elizabeth (Oden) Gregory.
She was a 1936 graduate of Middletown High School.
On May 31, 1946 in Wellsville, Missouri, she married Earl Lyndol Trower. He preceded her in death on January 23, 1985. She then married, Clyde Hunn at the Resurrection Catholic Church in Wellsville. He preceded her in death on June 22, 1989. Isabelle married Francis Robert DeSutter on December 3, 1994 at the St. Clement Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on April 10, 2008.
Isabelle was a homemaker and housewife. She had worked at a couple garment factories that included Bobbie Brooks in Vandalia and Swingmaster in Wellsville.
She lived in the Middletown area all of her life. Isabelle was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church and a former member of Middletown Methodist Church.
Isabelle loved to dance.
Isabelle is survived by her nieces and nephew, Connie Nelson, of Springfield, Randy Gregory and wife, Beverly, of Jefferson City and Rhonda Fox, of Mexico; in addition to several great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Earl Lyndol Trower, Clyde Hunn and Francis Robert DeSutter and brother, Earl Richard Gregory.
Private family graveside services were at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Fairmount Cemetery in Middletown. Rev. Kim Boone officiated.
Services were under the direction of the Myers Funeral Home in Middletown.
