Missouri native, Shirley Jean "Susie" Browning, 74, passed into eternal love of our Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the Arbuckle Memorial Hospital in Sulphur, Oklahoma. Susie was born November 6, 1945 at Farber, Missouri where she grew up and attended school. Susie recently moved to Dougherty, Oklahoma from Missouri to be near her family.
Susie was a devoted and loving mother, Grandma Susie, sister, aunt, and friend. She treasured her family more than anything and loved them fiercely. Known for her wit, stubbornness, and kind heart.
She leaves to cherish her memory: three daughters, Dawn Renee Summers and her husband, Steven of Davis, Oklahoma, Carmen Gaye Daugherty and her husband, Bryan of Dougherty, Oklahoma and Lynn Ann Penrod of Davis; also five grandsons, Travis Penrod and wife, Jaymi, Trey Daugherty and wife Amanda, Dale Vineyard, Chase Vineyard and wife, Brooke, and Trent Daugherty; four great-grandsons, Oliver, Dawson, Abner and Griffin; a great granddaughter, Raygan and sisters, Audrey Geraldine "Jerry" Cullom, Virginia Louise "Ginger" Morgan, Elizabeth Ann "Betty Ann" Monnig and husband Donald, Sylvia Lee Young, Alice Faye Coffelt. She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Burts; brothers: Donald “Duck” Browning and Marion “Chub” Burts; sister, Della Mae Browning.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date in Missouri.
